School Based Teacher Training - Premier Pathways - Harrow - September 2018
Are you looking for a school based Teacher Training programme that offers QTS and a full PGCE?
Maybe working as a Trainee Teacher in a Primary School, on a course that has NO TUITION FEES would be ideal for you?
Premier Pathways is a two-year School based Teacher Training programme, with the Buckingham University acting as the course provider, that awards you a full PGCE once completed! There are NO TUTION FEES and you are paid throughout the course.
Broken into three distinct School Based Teacher Training sections:
Section 1 - Starting in the school from September, you will work for the first two terms in a support capacity, leading intervention groups, working 1:1 with SEN students, so that you can gain a firm understanding of how a school operates.
Section 2 - The Trainee Teacher will now be taking on a 50% timetable so that they can transition from a support role into a trainee teacher.
Section 3 - PGCE Year - The second year will see you moving into an 80% timetable. The Teacher Training within this year will include:
•Residential Training for the Trainee Teacher
•Three Assignments from the University of Buckingham
•A Second Placement Three Weeks Long
•Three Visits from your Link Tutor
•School Based Mentor for the Trainee Teacher
•On completing your second year, you will be awarded a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status
School Based Teacher Training Requirements
All those considering the Premier Pathways PGCE, for this Trainee Teacher role, require the following:
•Educated to degree level (NARIC tested if International)
•Have a GCSE C grade or above in Maths, English and Science
•Excellent knowledge of the Education system in the UK
Payment
All payment is made on a daily rate:
•Term 1 - GBP70 per day
•Term 2 onwards - GBP80 per day
