The Organisation: 

Founded in 1604, Blundell’s is a co-educational independent school for pupils aged 11 – 18. Boasting excellent facilities and the best in pastoral care, we are committed to providing an outstanding learning experience for all students. 

We are now looking for a Cleaner to join our team on a part time basis, working weekday and Saturday mornings. 

Your Benefits:

Working Hours: 

- 16 hours per week 
- Monday – Saturday mornings 
- Mainly term time but with some fixed hours during school holidays for spring or deep cleaning 

Your Role: 

As a Cleaner, you will be tasked with cleaning various areas of School Boarding Houses including toilets, bathrooms, kitchens and corridors. 

On a day-to-day basis, you will: 

- Sweep all non-carpeted areas, washing and scrubbing with machines when needed 
- Dust and clean surfaces 
- Vacuum all carpeted areas using machines to clean when needed 
- Clean all appropriate areas with suitable disinfectants and/or protective substances 
- Dispose of rubbish 

About You: 

Although no experience is necessary, to be considered as a Cleaner, you will need: 

- To be able to take instructions and work under your own initiative 
- To take responsibility for their own areas 
- A close attention to detail
