Administrator/Meeter Greeter

Location: Romsey

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8-5. A team rota is in place providing cover typically every 2nd /3rd Saturday -

When working two Saturdays, a day off in lieu will be granted that week.

This role forms part of a showroom based team providing efficient sales team support; this will include meeting and greeting customers, qualifying telephone, email and walk-in enquiries, in addition to administrative duties. Passing on enquiries, placing and overseeing sales orders, whilst maximising customer satisfaction and showroom profitability.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Promptly responding to and qualifying incoming telephone, email and walk-in enquiries in a positive and professional manner.
  • Communicating efficiently with customers and the team regarding orders placed, expected delivery and installation dates etc.
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers both face to face and on the telephone, progressing orders, and resolving queries.
  • Checking and processing sales orders, supplier acknowledgements, purchase invoices, purchase invoice queries, raising delivery notes, raising customer invoices, taking deposits, interim and final balances.
  • Overseeing and promptly handling amendments or chargeable additions to orders, resolves to remedials, stock receipting, goods returns, supplier and clients credits.
  • Organisation and management of deliveries.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administration role (preferably Sales Administration).
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Displays excellent interpersonal skills; communicates clearly, confidently & effectively with customers, suppliers & colleagues.
  • Possess an excellent attitude toward providing high levels of customer service aiming to exceed customer satisfaction, resolving issues promptly, offering a service to be proud of.
  • Good team player, works well with colleagues, contributing to the team effort.
  • Competent and confident with using Microsoft packages to include Word and Outlook.
  • Driving licence would be an advantage but not a necessity.
  • Knowledge of kitchen/bathroom products would be an advantage but not essential.
