Our client is one of the UK’s largest colleges employing more than 1450 staff in over five campuses, all conveniently located in North East Wales, offering easy accessibility from within North Wales.
Joining them as Work Welsh Manager, you will provide effective leadership and management of Welsh in the Workplace programmes in order to ensure that curriculum provision meets the needs of learners, employers and other stakeholders. You must ensure the curriculum provision is of the highest quality in terms of learner outcomes and learner/employer satisfaction and that it reflects the vision, mission, aims and values of the College.
To be successful in this role, candidates must hold a relevant Degree (or an equivalent qualification) and have previous experience within the education sector. With proven experience of leading a team, you will have knowledge and understanding of different funding streams and have a proven record of active and successful employer engagement. They’d also like you to be able to work to deadlines and under pressure, have strong project management skills and be able to motivate and identify appropriate development opportunities for team members.
Those who have a teaching or assessing qualification will be of distinct advantage.
The ability to speak fluent Welsh is essential.
A DBS Disclosure will be requested from the successful candidate being offered the position.
