Your Role: 

As a Staff Nurse, you’ll be tasked with supporting operations at our Hospital in Newton Abbot, Cypress. 

This short-stay open unit has been designed for those who are recovering from mental health crisis. Nurse-led support is provided to avoid the need for ward admission and patients are supported to enable their transition back to their community. 

Your role will involve leading and developing recovery care plans and working as part of a team to deliver recovery practices to a high standard. 

Specifically, you will: 

- Provide individual and group clinical and therapy work 
- Advise and guide non-qualified staff and students 
- Ensure and acknowledge patients’ personal dignity through the development of effective therapeutic relationships 
- Work in-line with safeguarding protocols 
- Actively engage with training as required 

About You: 

To be considered as a Staff Nurse, you will need: 

- To be an RMN and/or RNMH with current registration 
- Experience of mental health nursing and the nursing process
