Our Client is a leading provider of Technology and Regulated Amdinisitration to the Public and Private Sector within the UK.
On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure and Environments for a 3 month contract based Worthing.
The role:
Overall project management of a programme's infrastructure, environments and areas of technical delivery
* Lead the planning for the live client transition period (clients migrating):
* Go/No-Go governance in collaboration with Business Readiness.
* Command and Control including formal escalation parameters
* Develop, test and dry run the detailed Runbooks (Schedule of Event) for each event in the series of cutovers
Responsible for the end to end delivery of the scope, plan, costs and resources for each work package throughout its lifecycle
* Collaborates with the subject matter experts in each area that are involved in their respective areas of expertise: i.e. high level design, detailed design and build, test and service transition
* Management, oversight and delivery of all defined project responsibilities within scope of the work package
* Line or matrix management responsibilities for all staff allocated to the programme within the work package
* Responsibility for build and maintenance of the relevant elements of the work package plan
* Ensure that programme has a clear and unambiguous view of project status, schedule, controls and deliveries, and that where issues or risks are identified, these are brought to programme governance to ensure clarity and agree actions / plans etc.
* Responsibility for ongoing delivery of dependencies within scope of the work package plan including any plan delivery aspects, risks and issues
* Manage the delivery of status & update reporting from the work package in line with reporting timescales and to expected quality criteria
* Assure the quality of the work package status, R&I, Dependencies and Plan reporting, ensuring that deficiencies against agreed quality criteria are identified and resolved
