Highways Principal Engineer

GBP45 per hour
Our client is looking for an experienced Highways Principal Engineer.
As Principal Engineer you will use your skills and technical experience assisting in managing the highways structural assets, delivering structures schemes, related projects including those in support of planning applications. You will be involved in the procurement, planning, feasibility, design, financial and resource management of these schemes. You will work closely with developers, contractors and the Councils in-house delivery team to ensure that scheme requirements are met, the risks associated with council's highways structural assets are effectively managed.
The successful candidate should have significant experience of working as a Principal engineer in the highways structures field, ideally in local authorities.
