Housingrecruit.com is currently advertising for a Money Advisor on behalf of our client, a leading social housing provider based in Boston.

They are a successful housing provider of more than 8000 homes to communities across Lincolnshire and the East Midlands. They are setting up an exciting new service to help tenants in financial difficulties during these tough economic times.

They are looking for a Money Advisor to provide advice and guidance to tenants to help them maximise their income, avoid financial difficulties and budget effectively. This new role will form part of the Income Recovery Team, ensuring customers can pay their rent, minimise arrears and prevent tenancy failure. You must have experience of providing face-to-face high-quality advice to the public and be able to demonstrate a high level of competence in welfare benefits, budgeting and money advice casework including appeals.

You must also be organised, self-motivated with excellent communication skills, and have the drive to set up and take forward our Money Advice Service.

The post requires visits to our customers, therefore, a full driving licence is essential
