Toolroom Assistant

Due to a new opening we're looking for a Tool Room Assistant / Toolmaker for our production room. We want you to know your way around a CNC Lathe and understand CAD.

We're a relaxed but very traditional company we work hard but like time off as well, how does finishing every Friday at 2pm sound to you? We're based in beautiful Kingswood in amazing surroundings just a short walk from Kingswood train station. We offer great training and can boast great staff retention as we really are a company where people wish to see their careers develop.

Your new role is very hands on within our engineering and production department. We'll train you up so you're comfortable looking after our tool room machines and bench work. We have a large number of machines in our workshop that need regular upkeep this is where you come in producing a number of parts or sourcing them when needed.

The bulk of your production will be on CNC Lathes for experience or qualification with CNC will be great.

We also want somebody familiar with CAD systems for the more intricate tools we work with.

Your new job is 40 hours a week 8-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8-2pm on a Friday (extra time for hitting the pub)

Required experience -

Use or qualifications of CNC Lathes.

Knowledge of CAD.
