Head Receptionist – Maternity Contract

We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional individual to join our team based in Aylesbury Companion Care to organise the reception function and head the team on a maternity contract.

Your role will be to assist and organise the reception team and their function, with emphasis on providing a professional service to our clients and their pets. You will liaise with the surgery team for the day to day administration of the practice. This is a varied role, where you will welcome clients in reception and manage their appointment bookings, maintain product knowledge and be confident advising on and promoting offers. You will comply with Health and Safety Regulations and local policy within the surgery and work with other team members to ensure that the reception is kept to high standards of cleanliness and is presentable at all times.

You will possess previous customer service experience, be confident and able to interact with our clients providing a consistently high level of service.  You will have the ability to drive the business forward from the front desk, motivate and supervise the reception team and have strong administration skills.

Other aspects to the role are bereavement handling, having an awareness of financial controls of the practice, and dealing with concerns with performance, conduct and absence, and first line handling of any complaints.

 You will be working 40 hours per week including 1 in 4 weekends.
