About the organisation
BS Social Care are assisting a charity that offers a range of autism-specific services for adults in Leeds area to recruit for an experienced manager! My client provide support for people either in their own homes, community settings or one of their own facilities.
This client at its bases across the city provide and develop a range of services for adults with Autism and related conditions which are specialised, innovative, of high quality and well resourced: and continually seek to improve models of good practice which are internationally recognised.
The Job
To oversee the work of Vocational and Community Services within particular responsibility for providing specialist service for adults with Autism. This will include the provision of workable programmes based on a person-centred approach, enabling service users to develop their skills to maximum potential.
- Managing, monitoring and evaluating quality systems/organisational performance
- Promoting the interests of service users
- Developing/managing staff to enhance perfomance
- Manage the use of financial resources
- Must have a driving license
I require someone who is happy to deal with conflict, who can lead a challening team, able to adapt and most importantly have an interest in Autism.
I am looking for someone with significant management experience who would like to take on the position of Team Manager within the Day Centre.
This position is working Monday to Friday 37 hours per week and hours would be 8/4 to 4/5 however hours are to be worked to meet the needs of the business. This role will require flexibility and you will be expected to work as part of the on call rota.
