CNC Programmer/Operator

Our client is a design and manufacture based company.

As part of their growth plans, they are looking to recruit a keen and motivated CNC programmer/operator.

The role will involve working closely within a team environment, so good communication skills are essential. This role would suit an enthusiastic and motivated individual.

Job Description

• Program /Operate CNC vertical milling machines using Heidenhain control Run CAM generated programs.
• Inspect and control all machining processes Work closely with the design team.

Required Skills

• Background in engineering is essential
• Proficient use of Heidenhain controls is preferred
• Ability to understand CAM sheets and drawings Ability to work to deadlines
• Ability to work to tight tolerances Work closely with our design team
• Experience in aerospace or power generation sectors would be beneficial

Working Hours/Benefits

39 hour flat week

7.00am – 3.30pm Monday – Thursday 7.00am – 2.15pm Friday

Overtime available

Pension scheme in place

Position Type: Full-Time/Permanent

Salary: £11-£14 per hour (dependent on experience)
