Due to continued growth, our client based in Nuneaton are looking to appoint an exceptional Financial Services Administrator.
The role:
We're looking for candidates who have the skills, personality and enthusiasm to get to grips with this very busy and demanding role.
We need someone who is confident and articulate, has excellent communication skills and is able to deal extremely well under pressure. Attention to detail is absolutely imperative for this role, as is discretion, character and the ability to effectively manage an extremely busy and varied workload.
We are looking for a highly proactive candidate who has excellent time management and organisational skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The main function of the role is to ensure that all the financial advisers are provided with a first class administrative support service.
·Creating new client packs
·Checking Fact Finds are fully completed
·Inputting Fact Find details into Client Database
·Preparing & sending off authority letters
·Inputting policy details of existing plans once received from providers
·Scanning all documents/emails provided by Planner into Client Database
·Checking all Anti Money Laundering information is current and relevant checks have taken place
·Checking Fact Find/Client Agreement/Letter Of Engagement is signed and dated
·Obtaining illustrations, application forms, Key Feature Documents and other relevant supporting documentation
·Submitting new business to provider or submitting applications on line
·Tracking new business and current position, updating Planner/Para planner accordingly
·Ensuring all new business has been checked and been signed off
·Ad hoc valuations
·Trades - placing, chasing and updating
·Preparing review pack
·Ensuring Financial Planning figures are sent to clients for update and revision in preparation for next meeting
Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours:
·Minimum of one year in a Financial Services Administration role (ideally familiar with using Intelligent Office, Standard Life Wrap etc.)
·Excellent understanding of the financial planning process
·Excellent communication skills at all levels
·Excellent telephone manner
·Excellent team player
·Proficient in IT skills
·High level of word processing and spread-sheet knowledge
*Ability to work as part of a team
*Highly effective time management and organisational skills
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
*Have strong administrative / processing skills
*Good problem solving skills and attention to detail
*Working knowledge of MS Office packages
*Work with accuracy and speed
Qualifications:
·CII qualifications preferred
