PROJECT MANAGER - Packaging / Print / Artwork / Supply Chain
North London / Hertfordshire.

OUTLINE: An opportunity has arisen for an on-site Project Manager to manage the requirements of a large client. The position will be based in the North London / Hertfordshire area and requires excellent organisational, project management, admin and co-ordination skills along with work ethic, personality and experience of working in a similar design to print / graphics management / print production / supply chain role / process led and methodical production environment, dealing with large client accounts and being the first point of contact for these clients. (Sales experience is NOT necessary) Packaging Graphics / Print Production / Print Management / Print Sector / Pre-Press / Artwork / Graphics / Packaging / Reprographics experience is ideal.

ROLE:
-Managing the launch of client product lines.
-Taking responsibility for the management of new, re-launch, amendment, line development and pack copy changes for the brand.
-Responsible for the co-ordination of pre-artwork meetings with the client, design agencies, suppliers, printers etc.
-Production of weekly status and exception reports using a production workflow tool.
-Provide day-to-day technical and administrative support service to various colleagues.
-Responsible for confirming priorities, specifications and requirements to the print technical teams in China.
-Project managing the supply chain between marketing and buyers in the UK and sourcing and vendors in the Far East.
The successful applicant MUST have:
-Excellent Project Management skills
-Knowledge of Artwork / Print Processes / Graphics Management
-Experience of Packaging Graphics / Print Production / Print Management / Print Sector / Pre-Press / Artwork / Graphics / Packaging / Reprographics.
-Exceptional communication and project management skills.
-The ability to operate closely with the client and communicate by phone, email and face to face
-To work within the clients structure
-Experience of working in a similar process led and methodical production supply chain environment, dealing with large client accounts and being the first point of contact for these clients
The successful applicant will IDEALLY have:
-Experience of working on-site at a clients premises
-Experience of Packaging / Packaging Graphics in particular
-Experience of colour separation
-Ability to manage high volume and to deadlines
-Experience of working to a critical path
-Understanding of supply chain requirements
-Clear communication of requirements
-Understanding of strategy
-The ability to be a doer as well as an instructor of tasks
