JOB ROLE: Production Manager - Large Format / Signage
SALARY:GBP30K-GBP35K depending on experience
LOCATION: Watford
My client, an up and coming Large Format and Signage company based in Watford, are seeking a print Production Manager to join their ever-growing team! They require somebody with an excellent working knowledge of print production processes and excellent man management skills. An excellent work ethic is also required.
Do you have experience as a Production Manager with the Large Format and Signage print arenas?
The role as a Production Manager:
•The Production Manager will be tasked with managing the whole process, from brief to delivery
•Managing a team of 7, predominantly Print Operators/ Finishers and Installers
•Overseeing all aspects of production, having had hands on experienced themselves.
•Create and manage print production schedules.
•Organise, control and monitor the flow of projects ensuring quality is maintained.
•Examine finished samples and approve quality before delivery to client.
•Write accurate technical specifications that reflect client goals, requirements, scheduling & budget restraints.
•Support the day to day running of the production department.
•Send estimate requests to printers and follow up.
The role as a Production Manager is relatively hands on, with Printers operating:
•Mimaki Solvent
•Mimaki 3.2 UV Roll Fed
•Agfa Flatbed UV
•Zund Cutters
•Laminators
Operation of these machines is desirable but not essential!
A Production Manager will possess:
•Must have previous experience running a print production department - Large Format / Signage
•Industry experience of print - specifically Large Format and Signage.
•Confident communicator.
•Excellent team work and able to step up into a team leader position.
•Knowledge of print production processes.
•Strong technical knowledge would be an advantage.
