This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a part time finance role with proven experience and capability of running the finances in a small professional services business environment. The role entails a broad range of duties from day to day book keeping to preparing the monthly and year-end financial accounts for the Directors and our Accountants.

You will enjoy working in a team environment and also be confident to work in a unique role within the practice and manage your own time and resources. We use SAGE for both our finance package and payroll and a project management database CMAP. Knowledge of these, or similar would be an advantage. You will be an experienced user of Excel and keen to further develop our financial information to support the needs of the business.

We are looking for someone to work 20 hours per week, with the actual working pattern to be agreed with the successful applicant.

Skills Required: You will have an in depth knowledge of or be required to develop knowledge of Sage (Sage 50 Accounts professional and Sage 50 Payroll) and be able to use project management systems (we currently use CMAP) to provide analysis and prepare reports in support of the business. You will be a confident user of Microsoft Office and especially proficient in using Excel (such as pivot table functionality and sage excel integration).

Qualifications Required: AAT or CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting or part qualified/qualified by experience in a relevant business environment.

Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, proactive and enthusiastic you will be able to learn quickly about the business to enable you to make an effective contribution. You will be an effective a team player with the potential to mentor and monitor the work of others, but also confident enough to work on your own initiative and prioritise work. You will have excellent written and spoken communication skills. You will be able to demonstrate a high level of confidence in presenting financial information and able to work accurately with excellent attention to detail. You will interact with our clients on a regular basis and have the right approach to maintain Integrals’ cash flow.

Training: Integral believe in the on-going professional development of their staff and training will be provided to support the successful applicant in developing their skills.

Salary and Benefits: We have a vibrant office environment in central Bath. We offer a competitive salary with the range for this post being £26,000 to £30,000 per annum (pro-rata for part time hours). Our salaries are reviewed annually. In addition we have a company pension scheme; Income protection and life assurance; 20 days holiday rising one day per year of service to a maximum of 25 days, in addition to bank holidays an extra Directors’ day in the Xmas holidays.
