Business Support Assistant

East Midlands Community Led Housing

3 Year Contract; £5200.00 per annum (10 hours per week over 2 days) + contributory pension scheme Central Lincoln

Community-led housing has gained momentum over recent years, particularly following the commitment from Government to invest £60 million a year in the sector. The sector is now on the cusp of significant expansion and there is real potential to move it from a niche emerging market into the mainstream. To accelerate this growth, East Midlands Community Led Housing has secured grant funding from the Nationwide Foundation to incubate an expansion of our community-led housing advice and support service across the region building upon our successful track record in supporting new Community Land Trusts to develop support services for all forms of community led housing.

About East Midlands Community Led Housing

Established in 2012 as Lincolnshire Community Land Trust and undergoing a name change in 2018, EMCLH is the leading source of advice and support for community led housing across the East Midlands. Our track record speaks for itself – in under six years we have helped to create six CLTs and supported Parish Councils and churches to develop housing to meet local needs. We work with a wide range of partners to create the best conditions for community led housing to flourish as well as practical grass-roots technical advice support and assistance to communities wishing to develop community led housing. EMCLH is a non-profit Community Interest Company Ltd by Guarantee.
