BS Social Care specialise in the permanent recruitment of Health & Social Care professionals. We are currently assisting one of the UK's most prestigious Learning Disability and Mental Health Care providers in their recruitment of an experienced Registered Home Manager.
You will join an ever growing, influential, and well respected organisation who provide residential, nursing, and supported living care packages for adults with mental health issues, learning disabilities and additional care needs. You will work effectively, leading a qualified and committed team of staff to deliver care that promotes choice, independence and well being; delegating duties to ensure the smooth running of the service. The service itself is a 40+ care home for adults with a range of mental health issues, acquired brain injury, complex needs and learning disabilities.
An excellent communicator, you will truly be passionate about making a difference to the lives of the people you support. You will lead by example, and your passion will inspire your staff team to go the extra mile.
To be successful in this role you will meet the following:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a Managerial role supporting adults with mental health issues, learning disabilities and complex needs
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management / Health & Social Care
- Nurse qualified with a valid NMC PIN is essential
- Excellent communicator with proven experience building, and maintaining relationships at all levels
- 3 years experience supporting adults preferably within a residential or nursing home setting
