Manpower are currently recruiting a spray painter for our client based in Wishaw. The ideal spray painter will have knowledge of a full range of pigmented paints and lacquers including:
* Acid Catalyst Lacquers
* Water based Lacquers
* Preparation of timber and MDF
The successful candidate will need to have a good knowledge of finishing applications and techniques. The client are looking for someone with a good eye for detail and be able to work within a deadline driven environment.
You will need to be a motivated person who can communicate well, takes pride in their work and has excellent attention to detail. A good knowledge and understanding of paint and all stages of preparation is also required.
Candidate Specification:
* Relevant experience.
* Working knowledge of furniture spraying.
* Organised.
* Deadline driven.
* The ability to work alone as well as part of a team.
* Good problem solving skills.
* Good communication skills.
* Willingness to learn.
* Flexible work commitment.
* Good knowledge of finishing applications & techniques.
* Joinery skills will be advantageous.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Preparation and painting of furniture components
* Spraying P/u lacquers and paints
* Prepping work for finishing Mixing paints and lacquers
* Maintaining equipment and supplies
* Quality control and preparation prior to customer
