Manufacturing Operative

We currently are looking to recruit Manufacturing Operatives for one of our key clients based in Sheepbridge, Chesterfield.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30am - 4:30pm Friday 07:30 - 12:30pm

Pay Rate: GBP8.33 - GBP8.83 per hour.

This is a temp to perm role. Once you become permanent, the pay rate is increased to GBP9.51 per hour.

Main duties include:

- Manufacturing handmade segments, press segments, and plastic wheels.
- Manual handling
- Reporting equipment faults
- Measuring in inches and centimetres
- Using various machinery
- Any other duties requested

Suitable candidates must be:

- Able to work on own initiative
- Comfortable with manual handling
- Adaptable; as you may be required to help out in other areas

Experience in manufacturing background is essential.

This is a very physical role, so applicants must be physically fit.
