A facilities manager is required for a busy female prison in Woking area, salary is dependant upon experience.

Your new company
The National Offender Management Services are there to ensure people serve the sentences and orders handed out by courts, both in prisons and in the community. Within England and Wales, NOMS is responsible for the running of prison and probation services, are dedicated to the rehabilitation services for prisoners leaving prison, making sure support is available to stop people offending again and contract managing private sector prisons and services such as the Prisoner Escort Service and electronic tagging.

Your new role
The Site Manager will take ownership of the operational management and delivery of all facilities management services delivered within his/her region or location(s). This includes the management of customer interface within a designated area of an estate; ensuring a high profile in the day-to-day running of the sites, and provision of a consistent strong link with customers, guaranteeing appropriate and responsive reaction to address any and all client concerns. This is an active and visible role requiring excellent customer relationship and supplier management skills. Working as part of a team within the business, the Site Manager will be expected to positively contribute to the performance of the business by engendering a culture of customer care. The postholder may be asked to deputise for a Cluster Manager / Operations Director as required.

What you'll need to succeed
There are no formal qualifications required for you to do this role, previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial, or in a supervisory/ assistant role where you feel ready to take the step up. You will need to ensure that all health and safety legislation and company policy is adhered to, any qualifications/ experience in this area is a real advantage.
