Urgently looking for a QC Operator to join a pre - press packaging specialist in the Nottingham area
My client operates as a pre-press packaging specialist, supplying goods and services for printer converters, FMCG brand owners and agencies alike. Our client portfolio typically includes major names from the food, drink and pharmaceutical markets.
Their main objective is to manage the translation from design into print conversion, ensuring clients achieve premium results from their packaging in the UK and Europe.
Due to recent growth and an increased demand for our products and services, they are seeking to hire a Quality Controller to join an expanding production team.
Based at their facility, the successful candidate will work in a high paced environment across a wide variety of projects. This role would suit driven individuals from a print background who can support the system of production quality control, ensuring material produced meets the needs for 'right first time' from first input of data through to final despatch.
Reporting to the Production Manager and working with all other departments to ensure accuracy of work, the successful candidate will maintain the process from first receipt of customer's instructions through to the complete manufacture of specification.
Skills and Experience
• Excellent organisational skills in order to keep track of work in the system
• Time Management Skills and the ability to make balanced judgements
• Self-motivated, team player
• Good communication skills
Salary: Negotiable (depending on experience)
