What are they looking for?

They are recruiting talented Residential Support / Care Workers to work part-time hours in their residential homes within their Children’s Service.  These are permanent positions with part-time hours.

These roles will work in their fantastic 2 and 4 bedroom homes on site at Cheadle Hulme near Handforth.  Experience working in a care setting with children or young people with complex learning disabilities and health requirements is preferred but is not essential.  Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care is advantageous.  If you share their values, and can show them that you can make a difference, then they would like to hear from you!

What are the roles?

These are permanent positions with part time hours.  The roles will involve providing daily care and support for their children including personal care needs, mobility, daily routine support, communication, independent living skills, learning and leisure activities.  Some challenging behaviours may present, so similar experience is preferred but is not essential.  These are active and physically demanding support/care roles as their children enjoy a wide range of activities, so if you are looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity where you can make a real difference, then please apply, and state the hours/days that you are looking for in your application.

What are the hours?

We have the following shifts available, and flexibility to work every other weekend is required.

• Early shifts between 7.30am – 3.30pm
• Late shifts between 2.30pm – 10.00pm
• Flexibility to work every other weekend is required

Our client is a national charity supporting children and young adults with complex learning disabilities and additional communication needs from across the UK.  They provide care and education, for children and young people aged between 3-25 years, at their residential school and college and through their short breaks services.
