Working hours Mon to Friday 9 am to 5.30pm

My client is a leading manufacturer of water purification systems that are designed to enhance health and wellbeing, and due to expansion are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator. This exciting role will coordinate installation work from smaller consumer-driven sales through to large commercial projects. Liaising with the team you will ensure that projects are well planned and delivered on time to budget, whilst working closely with the Technical Field Manager. From specification to Bill of Materials, you will manage the supply chain and procurement process ensuring delivery to site as required.
This fantastic opportunity will offer progression to become a proficient water treatment engineer.

Requirements

* The role requires excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have H&S supervisory level qualification, competent in the delivery of RAMS & MOI
* Intercommunication skills must be sharp with the ability to build relationships with key personnel across the construction disciplines. A strong and fair approach is required to ensure variations to order are managed appropriately.
* Allocate / issue correct equipment for installations.

Qualifications - desirable

* Project Coordinator 1

Not essential but a career option

* CAD skills - understudy Eng, Dir to produce and deliver accurate drawings/specification
* Mech Eng. background / qualification

Intercommunication

* You will liaise with the General Mgr, Sales Director and Production Mgr to ensure that all installations or orders can be met.
* You will liaise with the Purchasing Officer to ensure that the right equipment is ordered in sufficient time to meet planned assembly.

Reporting

* Daily update of Sales Log with installation dates completions and PPM agreements in place.
* Site surveys
* The job entails site surveys for pending installations, site inspections and site meetings to ensure space planning and services are in place. The company will provide a mode of transport where required but the use of public transport is primary for city-based jobs.

Recruitment
You will be involved in the recruitment of technical staff and engineers to support the Technical Manager whose role is field based.
