Currently recruiting Nationwide but particularly within the Corby area, IT Fleet Automotive are looking for Drivers to work on a self employed but full time basis, generally Monday to Friday.
Experience working as a Driver is not essential but applicants should display a professional manner, have common sense, a good geographical understanding of the UK roads and a UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
Working as a Driver, daily duties involve driving vehicles from one location to another location anywhere within the UK. Each night you will haver a carrier over vehicle to take you home, ready for delivery the following morning. Therefore you must have access to off road parking, either a driveway or garage at your home address.
You will complete vehicle appraisals using the latest technology in handheld systems and at all times follow company policy and procedures. You will regularly be meeting with our customers to deliver the vehicle in person and therefore strong customer service skills are essential.
You will benefit from extensive training (a 2 day compulsory training course held in Birmingham), a dedicated Transport team who allocate your work load through a company tablet, fuel card, trade plates, insurance and a uniform.
