The Quality Programs Manager will lead up major global quality project initiatives that drive our Quality team to seamless processes and consistency of practices across our global locations. Delivery of these initiatives is core to the Quality Strategy. Projects will include opportunities identified through the internal audit process, proactive quality gap analysis and customer experience enhancement.
As the Quality Programs Manager, you will impact every element of the companies Quality Program. Working directly with the Group Quality Director, your keen ability to effectively lead projects to successful implementation and to identify continuous improvement opportunities within our existing processes is critical. The right person for this role is willing to challenge the paradigms that exist within the Quality organization.
A successful candidate must demonstrate advanced project management knowledge across the full project lifecycle and strong collaboration skills to drive adoption across our various global locations.
You will be responsible for:
* Leading large quality workstreams, initiatives and projects that typically have organization-wide impact
* Working closely across workstream teams (QA managers/leads, technical leads, 3rd party vendors, etc.) to ensure cross dependencies and potential conflicts are documented and communicated.
* Planning for the next phase of the program as it finishes development and enters testing & implementation
* Tracking and monitoring improvement project status and effectiveness
* Keeping resources accountable
* Facilitating meetings with cross functional teams and executives
* Presenting status reports to senior level audiences
* Providing a voice for Quality in global business meetings
* Assisting with the selection, onboarding and successful transition of new hires.
* Working with cross functional partners on projects that impact Quality
* Championing quality improvement efforts and problem-solving efforts
* Assisting with monitoring Quality performance against budget and leading programs to reduce spending on reactive quality measures, repurposing that spending for proactive quality measures.
Technical Requirements
* Project Management experience
* QA experience
* Experience in leading continuous improvement activities/projects
* Knowledge of lean, six sigma tools, TQM methodology, etc.
* Technical background (Engineering, Sourcing, Supply Chain)
* Expert with MS Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to interface with people at all levels of the organization
* Ability to work independently, with strong organizational and flexibility skills in a team-oriented environment
* Financial management skills, such as budgeting
