Homologation Engineer - Extremely competitive salary - bonus, pension, holidays
An established and globally recognised, multi-site automotive manufacturer is looking to increase the current skill set and capability by employing an Homologation Engineer at their Head Office.
The right person for this role will be qualified in an engineering discipline and have proven experience in Type approvals within the automotive sector.
Responsibilities
- Undertake Type approvals - relating to new, existing and updated parts
- Create and implement new testing methodologies
- Effectively liaise with relevant stakeholders on homologation concerns
- Play an active role in investigation and understanding new processes applicable to supply in new markets
- To deputise for the Senior Homologation Engineer
Essential
- Proven experience in a similar position
- Ideally qualified to HNC / HND level - engineering or technical discipline
- Strong communication and influence skills
- Experience with Type approval for UK & European Markets
Desirable
- Experience of Type approval for Asian / American / Australian market
