Office Angels are currently recruiting for a HR Assistant for one of our most loyal clients based on the outskirts of Nottingham city centre on a MAT cover for initial 6 months with the potential to go permanent.
Monday to Friday 9am - 17.30pm
Salary GBP18'000 - GBP19'000 Depending on experience
Duties include but not limited to;
* Creating Employment Contract packages for current and new employees (UK and International)
* Coordinating "end to end" recruitment process, from advertisement through to job offer and ensuring that relevant parties are kept up to date with regard to new starter details and security pass information where appropriate
* Maintaining all HR records in accordance with GDPR rules and regulations
* Creating, maintaining and updating employees' electronic records on Bamboo
* Updating and maintaining the Employee Handbook and ensuring all employees are familiar with its contents
* Monitoring staff leave levels and working hours using electronic systems
* Manage the new starter and transfer process including carrying out induction and ensuring full legal compliance with Eligibility to Work legislation
* Liaising with the payroll provider to ensure that all payroll related information is communicated accurately and timely
* Managing occupational health requests
* Atmosphere monitoring in the workplace
Skills:
* Excellent organisational, multi-tasking and time management skills
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadline.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Competent in Excel, Word and MS Outlook
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to learn new things quickly
* A friendly, positive outlook and a real 'can do' attitude
Experience & Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years administration experience
* Experience of working with confidential and sensitive data
* Knowledge of HR processes and terminology, with a basic understanding of employment law would be advantageous but not essential
* CIPD qualification (or working towards it) would be advantageous but not essential
