Development Engineer
Would you like to work for a leading manufacturer who produces products that operate reliably in some of the most extreme environments on the planet?
After recently expanding they are looking for a Development Engineer to assist in developing novel future projects and support the excising science team.
Key Responsibilities -
You will support the design and development of new and existing products to time and cost.
Implement new processes and procedures to reduce manufacturing costs and improve quality.
You will need to understand design and test requirements.
You will assist feasibility design concepts at bid and scope stage, provide cost estimates for development of such concepts.
Monitor and analyse yield of new processes, driving thorough root cause analysis and permanent resolution to ensure final cost expectations are met before hand over to manufacture in volume.
Skills and knowledge required -
Experience of designing for manufacture and assembly.
Material and process knowledge within a vacuum technology product platform.
Experience in working a laboratory environment.
Degree level relevant qualification in Physics or relevant subject
