Elevation HR are currently recruiting for an HR Advisor for a well known business in Bradford. You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive HR service across the site. Working with stakeholders and managers across a variety of HR initiatives whilst providing operational generalist support.
Reporting in to the HR business partner, this role will be critical in providing a great employee relations service to key stakeholders and line managers, within a range of key HR policies and procedures: sickness and absence, disciplinary, grievance, performance improvement, discrimination, employee conduct.
You will be the first point of contact and steer stakeholders through correct procedure and company best practice, advising at all stages and ensuring that all discussions and actions are progressed in a timely manner.
Responsibilities to include:
•Work closely with line managers on employee performance, absence, grievance and disciplinary management
•Design and implement training strategies, coaching managers with all areas of HR development
•Develop employee retention and engagement initiatives, in line with company culture and values
Elevation HR would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:
•Proven experience as an HR Generalist
•Experience in a fast-paced HR environmnent
•Have the ability to challenge and negotiate Managers and offer advice and guidance
•Thorough understanding of applying HR policies and procedures within in the areas of employee conduct, sickness and absence, performance, grievance, disciplinary, investigations, dismissal
•Detailed knowledge of employment legislation and its application within the defined areas
•Have provided guidance and coaching to line managers
•Able to build relationships quickly, influence stakeholders and push back when required
•Highly organised, able to manage your own workload.
