Our client is looking for an administrator To coordinate the certification process, in accordance with the management system and eCMS, from initial enquiry to the withdrawal or expiry of their certification.
To be a file reviewer for overseas eCMS visit entries and ensure that the decision makers receive sufficient accurate information relating to certification visits ready for the final review and issue of certificates to overseas offices.
Responsibilities and authorities
The responsibilities and authority of the Global Operations Coordinator position are:
i) carry out client application and documentation reviews prior the client approval
according to the procedure.
ii) review eCMS visit entries and ensure that the required details are available for the final decision making and issue of certificates.
iii) resolve any issues regarding eCMS with the overseas offices and providers,
escalate as necessary.
iv) review clients remedial actions to non-conformances identified during assessments and surveillance visits and escalate as required.
v) recommend whether to authorise a reassessment or special visit.
vi) make appropriate recommendations, e.g. on a clients suitability for certification or amendment to scope.
vii) allocate competent assessment resource in accordance with the management
system in the most cost-effective manner.
viii) perform single site application and contract reviews and produce quotations subject to Managements approval for the UK office.
ix) carry out any other reasonable requests made by Head of Global Operations.
Knowledge and skills required for position
A post holder is required to:
i) have an understanding of the accredited certification industry
ii) a good understanding and work experience of ISO 17021 and other relevant standards e.g. QMS, EMS, OHSAS and ISMS, and have relevant industry practical experience of auditing or working in such environments
iii) good IT skills particularly in learning easily to use new systems and be able to communicate clearly both orally and in writing
iv) have a pleasant, helpful and caring nature and good telephone skills
v) develop good customer and supplier relationships with potential clients and auditors
