Due to my clients continued success there is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician | Mechanic to join their friendly team in Doncaster!
Looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent customer service and has a passion for working with the best.
Not only is the role rewarding, but it comes with great benefits as well! You will have the opportunity to carry out service, maintenance and repairs to a full range of premium heavy commercial vehicles trucks and trailers within a professional workshop.
Responsibilities:
- Working on class 1 vehicles.
- Required to undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Regular vehicle and trailer inspections.
- General servicing and pre-planned maintenance.
- Reactive maintenance as required.
- MOT preparation / Presentation.
- Correction of running defects.
- Full vehicle overhauls / engine and gear box repairs
- Fault finding and Diagnosis
- Engine Rebuilds
- Working to VOSA standards
The ideal candidate:
- The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of HGV vehicles, and have a notable motor vehicles apprenticeship (or equivalent).
- You must be able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment.
- Have extensive HGV mechanical engineering experience
You must have Full UK driving licence and a clean LGV licence C + E would be an advantage although not essential.
