SEND RSW / Special Educational Needs Residential Support Workers needed for temporary to permanent positions in Chesterfield.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a SEND RSW / Special Educational Needs Residential Support Worker in an outstanding Special Needs school and residential home in Telford.
The school is for young adults aged 8 - 19 years of age who have various abilities, ranging from moderate learning difficulties to complex and profound needs. The post requires talented SEND RSWs / Special Educational Needs Residential Support Workers who are flexible, enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting children with educational needs to join their team of dedicated staff.
To work in this setting you MUST;
*Be comfortable providing personal care
*Have experience working in special needs settings
*Able to be flexible with shifts
Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ certificate in Children's Learning and Development or equivalent? Do you work well independently and as part of a team?
The role will include:
*1-1 work with students who require additional support
*Leading group work
*Helping class teachers with pupil observations
You will be part of a great team and able to chaperone on some great days out with the students.
