We are recruiting now for a Learning Support Assistant in Cardiff. You will be responsible for assisting the learning of pupils with learning disabilities and autism.

Working in a local college for higher education, you will be working with individuals of a range of ages. You will encourage engagement of the service users with a range of activities and studies; encourage them to become independent learners.

Working as part of a dynamic team, you will help encourage and motivate pupils around you, aiding with lesson plans and participating in educational activities.

For this role it is essential that you will need to be able to speak and communicate in British Sign Language.

Experience in a similar field is desirable but not essential and you must be either registered with the education work force council (EWC) or be willing to sign up for it.

All we ask for is 1 year experience in health and social care. Ideally you will hold practical First Aid training, a form of behaviour management training, manual handling training, and access to your own transport.. All applications are subject to enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
