Our client has an opportunity for an experienced Chemist to provide support and supervision for the start-up and ongoing performance processes.

Working on a shift rota, you will monitor, interpret and report data, providing technical guidance to ensure product quality. You will demonstrate process routes in the laboratory and conduct remedial experimentation to support plant activities. Working closely with the technical team, you will deliver improvements to yield, quality and throughput. You will prepare batch documentation to support processing and complete technical assessments. Safety conscious, you will ensure all HSE requirements are met and adhered to. Ideally with project management experience, you will confidently liaise with both internal and external stakeholders on project specifications.

You will hold a Chemistry degree or equivalent and have gained experience as a chemist in a fine chemical industry. With an understanding of chemical / batch manufacturing systems, you will be accustomed to planning and coordinating the workload. In addition to being computer literate, you will be competent in a range of analytical methods and will think creatively, applying new and innovative techniques that will benefit the company.
