Porter / 7.5t Driver

37 hours per week

Our Client offer a London-based commercial moving and storage service. They are the market leaders and have held the largest share of the UK’s business moving market for more than ten years, expanding their services by responding to the needs of their customers.

They are looking to appoint a Porter / 7.5 tonne Driver who will carry out the daily delivery and collection of full and part house moves. This is a permanent, full time position working on an MOD site, therefore vetting will take place on the successful candidate. The minimum standard will be to BS7858 although the MOD may require a higher level of vetting.

Within the role you will undertake all associated moves tasks to ensure successful job completion, maintaining all elements of the delivery and collection process. Delivering a high quality service at all times and meeting the required standards of DAS, you will accurately record any changes to the delivery and collection information whilst carrying out workplace risk assessments as required.

They are looking for someone who has a C1 driving licence (can drive 7.5 tonne vehicles) and a Driver CPC. With handyman experience and excellent customer service skills, you will have experience in the use of vehicle tail lift, coupled with manual handling skills.

Working hours for the role are 37 hours per week: Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4pm, Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm
