My client, a market leading, international Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Flood Risk Consultant to join their friendly and supportive Team of Engineers and Consultants based in Winchester.
Applicants are required to have a MSc and BSc in Hydrology, River Basin Dynamics or Environmental Engineering and have experience working within a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategy and/or Hydraulic Modelling using Hec-Ras or Tuflow.
It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience completing Flood Estimation or Environmental Impact Assessments.
As a Flood Risk Consultant you will have the opportunity to join a specialist Water Team of Engineers and Consultants based in Winchester.
You will be supported to complete Flood Risk, Surface Water, Hydraulic Modelling, Drainage Engineering Projects for Local Authorities, Water Companies, Private Sector Clients and Housing Developers.
Candidates will be required to complete;
-Flood Risk Assessments.
-Surface Water Management Plans.
-Catchment Management Plans.
-Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.
-Flood Estimation using FEH, Winfap and ReFH.
-Hydrological Assessments.
-Hydrological Analysis.
-Hydraulic Modelling using Hec-Ras and Tuflow.
-Drainage Strategy and Design using Microdrainage.
