Grounds Maintenance Operatives
JT Recruit are currently looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative on behalf of our client in Chesterfield. The candidate is required to work on multi-site contracts including public open spaces, parks, educational premises, sports facilities and playing fields.
Role Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
•Cut grass using ride-on mowers, pedestrian mowers and strimmer's
•Undertake leaf collection, weeding, pruning, edging and other seasonal activities as required
Desirable Requirements:
•CSCS is essential
•Pesticide Training (PA1 & PA6) preferred
•Experience of grounds maintenance with knowledge of horticulture
•Self-motivation with the ability to use own initiative
•A full UK driving licence with towing entitlement preferred
DBS/CRB certificate - checks will be undertaken
