To prepare monthly management accounts for Serving Sport Ltd, and its associated companies.
To prepare year end statutory accounts for all companies.
To deal with all of the tax affairs of the companies including submission of all tax returns including but not limited to Corporation Tax returns.
To ensure controls and procedures are in place to enable accurate recording of the assets and liabilities of all companies.
To manage the cash resources of the companies.
To prepare and submit VAT returns as and when required under HMRC regulations
To process the payroll of the company and to submit the monthly and annual returns to HMRC for all payroll and expense reporting as required by HMRC.
To take an active role in managing the HR issues within the business in conjunction with the CEO.
To work with the CEO and staff within the business to improve the IT systems and develop the systems to generate management information and improve process and procedures.
To review and replace / amend current procedures within the finance function in order to streamline and improve control.
Any other suitable duties or tasks as required by management.
Person Specification :
Qualified Accountant
Minimum 3 years post qualification experience in industry
Experience of preparing management and statutory accounts for small businesses
Computer literate with good spreadsheet skills.
Knowledge of Xero accounting systems would be an advantage
Must be a 'hands on' individual, prepared to roll up the sleeves and get stuck in.
