Our client a leading hotel and leisure company are recruiting for their beautiful hotel & leisure facility based near Canterbury.

The role of Sales Office Manager will involve the effective management of Hotel's Sales Office activities, continuously working to strengthen and build the business. To maximise all sales opportunities, to manage all costs and to ensure delivery of great customer service at the best possible price.

Personal Specification
•Enjoy working and dealing with the public and being part of a team.
•Confident, pleasant and an excellent articulate communicator; able to stay calm under pressure and remain courteous when dealing with difficult situations.
•Must be efficient, organised and self motivated.
•Have a good personal standard projecting a professional image at all times.
Your key tasks reflect your contribution to our four core objectives; which are people customer, profit and sales.
Computer skills: Must be IT literate

Key Responsibilities
•To ensure the accurate communication of identified client needs both internally and to the wider team as required
•To hold regular sales meetings with the team that include communicating the business direction and objectives, yield strategy, review business to date and encourage new ideas to drive the business forward
•Complete a service briefing at the beginning of each shift and a handover at the end of each shift
•Ensuring that the Customer experience is truly engaging throughout each and every interaction throughout their stay
•Attract and recruit team members showing that they have the right culture, attitude and can develop superb skills to ensure that the hotel brand of truly engaging hospitality is delivered each and every time •To work with the Director of Sales to compile and implement the sales & marketing plan for all areas of the business.
•To maintain account profiles through consistent follow up calls of all key accounts, identifying new accounts and building relationships to grow market share for key accounts.
•Attend appropriate networking events as required with Director of Sales/ Sales Manager to raise the profile of the hotel

Salary is up to GBP28,000 dependent on experience. Due to the location of the position it is ideal if applicants have their own means of transport
