Our client is seeking a Legal Assistant to join their Debt Recovery team.The role will involve processing litigation cases, so ideally you will have previous experience in a litigation/debt recovery environment, but this is not essential as training will be given.This is an opportunity to work in a growing team, where there are opportunities for progression.

Principle Responsibilities:

??Liaising with customers, agents and third parties to maximise recovery on overdue balances

??Assess customer affordability and negotiate realistic payment plans

??Use the inhouse systems to accurately record and note call details, critical dates and payment plans

??Progression of files through each legal milestone up to when they become defended or complex matters

??Managing deadlines and completing work priorities

Skills required:

??Previous experience of working in a litigation/debt recovery environment is desirable but not essential

??Excellent oral and written communication skills

??Good attention to detail and accuracy

??Motivated and enthusiastic

??Strong IT Skills are important
