Interim Group Financial Controller

Harper May is currently working with a high growth start up that is leading the way in the renewable energy sector. My client, based in Central London, is currently seeking an Interim Group Financial Controller to lead their team. This trail-blazing organisation provides next-generation innovations that produce clean and efficient energy. Last year, the company received a substantial private equity investment and is set for exponential growth over the next couple of years. The successful candidate will be fully qualified and will have extensive group accounting and technical reporting experience.

Responsibilities

-Group financial reporting under IFRS for both internal and external purpose

-Oversee preparation of monthly financial and management accounts for board review

-Analysis of group performance, forecasting and budget planning

-Liaison with single entity financial teams to provide detailed commentary on financial performance

-Lead implementation of group internal controls and mitigation to risk

-Principal contact for group auditors

-Consolidation of group accounts and statutory reporting

-Due diligence assessments of potential investors

Desired Skills

??-ACA/ACCA qualified with 5+ years PQE experience

-Extensive knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS reporting standards

-Proven ability to build working relationships with key stakeholders and senior leadership
