HR Administrator
Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary: Up to GBP20,000 + Benefits
Employment Status: Full-Time, Permanent.

We have an excellent opportunity for a competent and reliable Administrator to join our busy HR Shared Services team to provide support and first class administrative service to all employees.
You will need to have excellent attention to detail, ideally have previous administration experience and proven ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team. You have need to have competent IT skills and good knowledge of Microsoft packages including, Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Personally, you will be approachable, committed, confident, polite and outgoing. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to work to strict deadlines.
Main Purpose of Role:
To support the end to end employee lifecycle in an efficient and customer focused manner through effective administration and assistance on all employee related matters. This includes HR transactional processes, ensuring global legal compliance, data integrity, accurate input of employee information and effective application of company policy. Responsibilities include maintaining HR records, preparing/issuing contracts of employment and associated onboarding administration, handling reference requests, benefits & payroll administration, maintaining organisation charts, regular reporting on absence, probation review dates, FTC end dates etc. and other administration as and when required.
Skills and Experience Required:
- An exceptionally efficient administrator, who is willing to go the extra mile, it goes without saying that you will be passionate about people and keen to develop your skills in this area.
- Will be welcoming, professional and efficient
- Will be organised, excellent at prioritising, have good judgement and enjoy problem solving
- Will be thorough, open minded, approachable with the ability to work in a team as well as individually
- The ability to work with a high level of confidentiality, tact, diplomacy and interpersonal skills with customer service at the forefront of everything you do
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Have good IT skills, particularly word, excel, outlook.
Desirable systems and applications experience include iTrent and Visio.
