Position: Divisional People Advisor - Facilities Management
Salary: Up to GBP38,000 + Pension + Private Medical Insurance
Location: Milton Keynes with travel & occasional overnight stays
Our client is a national Facilities Management company specialising in a combination of self-delivered hard services and the provision of managing agent services within high volume retail environments.
Because of continuous growth they now require a Divisional People Advisor. This is a new position and reports into the Head of Human Resources.
The objectives of this role are:
• To drive the People Agenda through the management team
• To support the business in delivering the people aspects of the strategic plan to deliver profitable business growth
Key responsibilities include:
• Provide, advise & support to managers on all HR related issues across employee relations, recruitment and selection, polices, learning & development & performance management
• Support growth plans for the business particularly TUPE & recruitment activity
• Act as a custodian of policy and process ensuring compliance within the business
• Reporting & analysis of HR metrics & identifying opportunities to drive business performance
• Support the Head of HR in the delivery of projects and change initiatives in the business
Candidates background & experience:
• CIPD qualified
• Previous experience in an HR advisory position & also in training delivery is essential
• PC literate & expert user of MS Office
• Previous TUPE experience
• Effective communicator with initiative & drive
• Customer focussed & good relationship management skills
• Good planning & organising skills
• Problem solving & decision-making skills
• Full UK driving licence
