Our Client is a well-established M& E Building services company operating very successfully over the last decade, with a healthy order book moving forward and an excellent reputation for quality and client relationships.
They are looking to continue their growth in 2018 and are now looking to recruit a Mechanical Estimator to join their busy team.
The region you will be covering to carry out site surveys will be Bath, Bristol, Swindon & Dorchester areas.
You will be dealing with a full range of HVAC plant and equipment including critical heating elements, controls systems BMS, renewables and BREEAM.
The value of the projects you will be preparing estimates for is in the region of GBP25K - GBP1.5M
Using the electronic package/system Amtech estimation / contract costing, have knowledge & experience in pricing systems that are to Riba stage 2-3 and take it on to stage 4.
Ideally you will be educated to NVQ or City & Guilds standard in Mechanical Engineering / Estimation.
Good previous knowledge of general building services and the Health & Safety.
Good knowledge in the industry working on the commercial, private sector or residential contracts.
Good verbal and written communication skills, numerate & literate.
Self-motivated, with a high level of personal integrity able to work well both in a team and alone, well organised, able to prioritise and deliver within high-pressure environments.
