CJ Recruitment Solutions are seeking a Materials Testing Technician for our client based in the Syston area to start ASAP.
Interviews will be held within the next 2 weeks
As a Materials Testing Technician, you will be responsible for testing road and pavement surfaces and giving an accurate report for its suitability.
Your key activities will involve:
Ensuring site testing is carried out safely and to the correct industry standards.
Ensuring that all records are completed adequately and to standards required by my client
Communicating with both internal and external clients and reporting any issues
Ensuring all test equipment is maintained and clean
Candidate requirements:
Full UK driving licence essential
The ability to work in any condition
The passion to progress and learn
CSCS card preferred but not essential
Basic GCSE's - Grade C or above in Maths & Science
You will ideally have a background working in the elements outside with site experience and surveying capabilities. Experience not essential as full training will be given.
Package:
GBP8.00 to GBP10.00 per hour basic depending on experience.
+ Overtime and night work enhancements
Monday to Friday with the occasional night and weekend work booked in advance
Modern working environment but as you will be mobile you will be required to work in all elements
Standard holiday and bank holidays.
