3MD are a specialist Technical Recruitment Business and we are currently recruiting for one of our well established clients who require an avionics technician to join their business on a full time permanent basis.
This role will be working in the repair workshop and will involve working on, maintaining and overhauling electrical / electronic components from various aircraft. This will involve full disassembly, electrical and electronic fault finding, component repair and replacement, full rebuild and testing the finished units. You will be working from component maintenance manuals and conducting strict testing.
To be successful in this role you must have recent experience of single and three phase electronics, you must be able to read electronics schematic diagrams, be able to fault find to component level using standard diagnostics tools (oscilloscopes and multi-meters) and have excellent manual soldering skills. If candidates also have an electronics qualification and/or avionics experience, this will further enhance their application.
