Support Worker

Do you live in travelling distance to Basildon or Cambridge? Do you have experience working with young adults between the ages of 16-18 with challenging behaviour? I`m currently recruiting for support workers in Basildon and Cambridge for an independent service.

The company provides residential services of high quality innovative and specialist care to young adults between the ages of 16-18. They provide activities and avenues for the social integration of the young people within the community. They currently have 4 services across the south east of England.

The aim of your role will be to improve the lives of vulnerable young adults placed within the home, who have challenging behaviour. You will work alongside a staff team who have the same goals, passion and aspirations as yourself in helping the vulnerable.

Due to the speciality of the role we would need for you to have a strong background and understanding of young adults with challenging behaviour, emotional behaviour disorders including CSE and learning disabilities, have an NVQ Level 3, be flexible to work on a weekly rota and have a current DBS.
