Job Description
We are looking to employ a Seasonal Gardener to join one of our mobile teams who are maintaining the grounds of the prestigious sites in and around Chichester. You will be based in one of our depots at Chichester.
Nurture provides landscape maintenance teams at some of the UK's most prestigious commercial centres as well as some of the most iconic public spaces. Since starting in 2008 we now turnover in excess of GBP35 million and have over 425 gardeners who are building their careers with us. We strive to maintain landscapes to complement both their environment and the character of each venue.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
You will work within one of our static teams who are at the forefront of delivering high quality landscape and grounds maintenance for some of the country's best known Blue Chip organizations and headquarters.
You must be able to demonstrate an interest in horticultural together with some horticultural skills and experience - ideally from within a similar environment. You will be working 'hands-on' to provide our clients with a top class horticultural environment.
We are looking for a candidate who can show some or all of the following;
- has experience of grounds maintenance on similar sites (ideally with an NVQ Level 1 & 2 or above)
- has NPTC PA1 & PA6a spraying certificates (not essential but will enhance your application)
- has experience of grounds maintenance machinery - especially ride-on mowers
- is able to show the ability to plan and organise their daily tasks
- has the ability to implement Health & Safety requirements to ensure safe working practices to enable smooth running of works on site
- holds a full driving licence

Nurture Landscapes Profile:
The key service of Nurture Landscapes Ltd is the provision of an external landscape maintenance service to the Corporate and Public Sector throughout the UK.
1. Landscape Maintenance to the Corporate and Private Sector including Tree Surgery
This is the provision of a landscape maintenance service to all types of corporate sites e.g. business parks, corporate headquarters, hotels, superstores, etc. This service is provided via a static service or mobile service.
2. Landscape Maintenance to the Public Sector
This is the provision of grounds maintenance to schools and housing associations.
3. Interior Plants, Cut Flowers including Christmas trees
This is the provision of interior plant displays and cut flowers to many of our corporate/business park/hotel clients.
4. Design and Build Construction
A Design and Build service is provided to our existing contract base seeking to improve/upgrade their sites. We also under take some private work in the Surrey, Berkshire and West/Central London areas.
