Location - Portsmouth
Hours - Full Time, 40 hrs

Mitie are looking to recruit an Agile Grounds Maintenance Operative to join the South England branch of the Mitie Landscapes team.
Reporting to the Contract Manager, the Agile Grounds Maintenance Operative will carry out a variety of ground maintenance duties to achieve high standards of maintenance.
The Agile Grounds Maintenance Operative will be responsible for:
•The Agile Grounds Maintenance Operative will be required to ensure the sites external areas are maintained to satisfactory standards
•To cut grassed areas
•The Agile Grounds Maintenance Operative will carry out work in a safe and diligent manner
•To drive company vehicles
•The Agile Grounds Maintenance Operative will provide management with relevant information/reporting as required
•Reporting any site issues to the Contracts Manager
•The Agile Grounds Maintenance Operative will be required to undertake training as and when required.
What we expect from our Agile Grounds Maintenance Operative:
•Due to the nature of the works, the person must be physically fit and
•The new Agile Grounds Maintenance Operative will have a basic understanding of mobile phone/text services use
•The ability to communicate at all levels will be an important part of the Agile Grounds Maintenance Operative role
•The Agile Grounds Maintenance Operative will require some degree of flexibility
•Gritting will also be required when appropriate
•Driving license is essential as role covers multiple locations
